Guitar Teachers
Frustrated with your lack of progress? Is that book or video just not cuttin’ it for ya? Your guitar playing will improve geometrically if you get some one-on-one training - and it’s really not expensive. If you want to make regular weekly or more frequent session meetings, you might be able to bargain a great monthly package. You can search for a guitar teacher in your area by using Craigslist.
I found my first teacher, Will Vukin, that way. Printed material, online material, videos just do not compare in any way to a teacher. They’ll be able to analyze your playing abilities as they are right now, they’ll tailor popular songs to your skill level (I learned the chord progression to Turn The Page on my third session). Books can’t look over your shoulder and see if you’re doing something incorrect. Videos can’t answer your questions on the spot.
And guitar teachers, I’d be happy to post your listing here on GuitarNoob! Just get in touch with me!
